How to Use NSP's New Website

April 13 2014 | Nature's Sunshine Business | News

It's been a long time coming, but our newly designed website is finally here. There are a lot of advantages to the new site. It (should be) faster. It's better for viewing and shopping from a phone or tablet or any mobile device. It has better photos and a modern design.

However, we know that for some of you who are used to the old one and might be confused about some things like how to sign in, seeing your bonus statement, rapid entry, order history, and viewing specials.

Hopefully most of those potential issues are self-explanatory once you get on the site and play around. But if you have some questions, we put together a simple tips page to help answer your questions.

Below are some tips and some of the most popular pages and how to find them on our site. To see the entire tips page, go here: http://www.naturessunshine.com/us/shop/c1/website-tips/

5 Things to Be Grateful For This Year -- Message From Michael Dean, CEO of Nature's Sunshine

November 20 2012 | Nature's Sunshine Business | Nutrition

By Michael Dean, CEO of Nature's Sunshine Products

I really enjoy this time of the year. The holidays sure are busy, but they’re also a lot of fun. I especially like Thanksgiving because it gives us a day or two away from the daily business-world grind to catch up with family and friends. And I don’t mind the wonderful food either!

We have so much for which to be thankful. I can only speak for myself, but I’m thankful for:

Health

I regularly mountain bike and ski to take advantage of the amazing mountains here in Utah, and it makes me happy to get out there and be active. Good health can be gone in a second, and we should live each day to the fullest. And so I’m thankful that we’re in the business of helping people improve their health. It’s a great feeling to wake up day after day, knowing that our products and our efforts are helping millions of people feel better.

Free Enterprise

Nature’s Sunshine is a wonderful organization, founded over 40 years ago on quality, service and integrity. I believe in the principles of a free market economy and am thankful that we are in a position to provide goods and an opportunity that greatly benefit so many people around the globe. When we share the NSP business opportunity with friends and neighbors, we open the door for them to have the peace that accompanies financial independence. We give people hope, both through our quality supplements and our financial opportunities.

Mother Earth

Our beautiful, spinning planet has provided us with natural supplements and ingredients that are truly amazing! We’ve got fruits, seeds, roots, leaves and plants that boost energy, nourish our cells and help the body heal. What a gift! And to have the knowledge and ability to get these from the fields and into the hands of the masses is almost miraculous.

Family

I believe that family is the most important thing in the world. And in this regard, I feel very blessed. Not only do I have a wife and three children that are amazing, but I am fortunate to be part of the NSP family. This company was built by Gene, Kristine and Pauline Hughes on the belief that we are not just another company, but we are a family. We can accomplish more as a family, because we share a deeper bond and caring for each other. And this is why after 40 great years, our company has never been stronger.

Thank You

So let me take a minute to say thank-you to all of our wonderful managers, distributors and employees the world over who are sharing NSP products and the opportunity with their fellow men. This company wouldn’t be where it is today without your tremendous efforts. I invite you to keep sharing the sunshine today, tomorrow and next week because when we reach out to others, we in turn are blessed.

May your Thanksgiving be filled with the people and good things you love dearly.

5 Steps to Network Marketing Success at Nature's Sunshine

October 9 2012 | Marketing | Nature's Sunshine Business | Network Marketing

People join Nature’s Sunshine for a number of reasons, but they often stay because we offer a tremendous financial opportunity. We’ve helped thousands of individuals develop a thriving Nature’s Sunshine business capable of supplementing their income or even replacing their full-time work.

We want more people realize their potential as Nature's Sunshine distributors, so we’ve put together a list of key steps to follow for growth. If you’re interested in more information on these steps, look up this article at entrepreneur.com, MLM Master Tips from Rod Nichols:

    Be Coachable

Your group leader would love to share their knowledge with you to help you grow. Are you willing to listen? Accept the advice and instruction that they give. They’ll help you avoid common pitfalls, frustrations and other disappointments that could derail your business before you really get started.

    Develop Dreams, Goals and Objectives

What are you working for? Most people don’t have a solid grasp of why they go to work. As a network marketer, you need to develop the big picture in your mind’s eye and set clear defined steps that will help you reach your dreams. Every time you face a challenge or get discouraged, remember that goal and let it inspire you to keep trying and not give up.

    Be Consistently Persistent

A lot of people hold to the common misconception that network marketing is a get-rich-quick business. A successful network takes time to build, and unfortunately, many budding network marketers give up after a few short months because they haven’t made thousands of dollars yet. As a network marketer, realize that you need to be invested for the long haul and give your business time to mature and grow.

    Work

Some people consider it a four-letter word, and those people will never succeed as a network marketer. Your success as a network marketer really boils down to how much work you put into your business. When you’re just starting out, most of your effort should go toward expanding your network: making contacts, signing up new members and following up with people you meet.

    Make a Million Friends

As a network marketer, your focus should be on your people, not on your bonus check. Rather than set a goal to make a million dollars, set a goal to recruit a million people to your group. With network marketing, you help yourself by helping others. Forget about what you want or need and focus on helping the new people that you bring into your group. Once your group is in place, the income will follow.

Follow these general steps to get started with your Nature’s Sunshine business, but don’t stop there. Talk with your upline—and even your new members— for thoughts and ideas on how to grow and share sunshine with even more people everywhere you go.

Your business is just that — YOURS. So find what works for you and stick with it to reach all of your goals.
