How It Works:

Kelp, commonly known as seaweed, is botanically classified as algae. It is a source of vitamins and minerals, including essential trace minerals, and especially high in iodine, which must be present for proper functioning of the thyroid gland and metabolism.

Kelp is a traditional food still enjoyed today and is an important source of the mineral iodine, especially for maritime cultures. Hypothyroidism occurs when the thyroid fails to produce adequate thyroid hormones. The underproduction of hormones is sometimes due to inadequate dietary iodine. Hypothyroidism can cause fatigue, weight gain, headaches, anemia, acne, eczema, chronic infection, psoriasis, menstrual disorders, depression, poor circulation, and sensitivity to cold.

·         Kelp helps in the function of the thyroid gland and in the prevention of iodine deficiency.

·         For the maintenance of good health.

·         Kelp is a natural food source of vitamins and minerals and is eaten today by maritime cultures as a sea vegetable.
