Elderberry D3fense Fizz

    June 27, 2024

Add this drink to your meal-prep list by making the tea and ice cubes ahead of time.

Elevate this drink by making Elderberry D3fense ice cubes. Simply add an extra batch or double batch of the hibiscus and Elderberry D3fense mixture (minus the seltzer) to an ice cube tray. Make it even better by adding fresh or frozen berries like blueberries.

Freeze the ice cubes for four hours or overnight. Store them in an airtight container for up to one month. You can pop these cubes into drinks or a teacup or mug for a hot drink.

    Serves 1

    INGREDIENTS

    1 Nature’s Sunshine Elderberry D3fense pill, opened

    2 hibiscus tea bags

    1/2 cup boiling water

    1 tsp. honey or agave

    1/2 cup ice

    seltzer to top

    1 strawberry, sliced, garnish

    1 edible flower, garnish

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Pour the boiling water over the tea bags in a mug or heatproof container. Steep for five to 10 minutes and remove the tea bags. Add the honey and the powder from the Elderberry D3fense capsule and stir vigorously or use a frother. Let the tea cool to room temperature.
