Vanilla Power Meal Gingerbread Tea Latte

    December 19, 2023

Save this easy latte recipe to try later. Bonus: It’s perfect to pour into a to-go mug to take with you during the busy holiday season.

Chef Notes: Feel free to use whatever milk you prefer. For a milkier latte add another 1/4 cup of milk. If you don’t have a foamer, a blender will also work, but be careful not to burn yourself with the hot milk.

    Serves 1

    INGREDIENTS

1 Tbsp. Nature’s Sunshine Vanilla Power Meal

2 bags of your favorite ginger root tea

    1 1/2 cups boiling water

1/2 cup plant-based milk of your choice

1/16 tsp. each of cinnamon, cardamom, and nutmeg (the smallest pinch), garnish

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Add the tea bags to a large mug and cover with boiling water. Add a small saucer or lid on top and steep for five minutes before removing the tea bags.

    2. Warm the milk in a small saucepan for two minutes (or until warm) or in the microwave for about 30 seconds.

    3. Add the milk and Vanilla Power Meal to a heatproof jar or cup and foam with a frother for about 20 to 30 seconds. You can also use a blender for 20 to 30 seconds, but make sure the lid is on tight.

    4. Pour the frothed milk over the tea and garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon, cardamom, and nutmeg.
