Gregory L. Probert

Gregory L. Probert

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Probert was appointed CEO in October 2013. He has served as Executive Chairman since January 2013. Prior to this, Mr. Probert served as Executive Vice Chairman since June 2011, and served as an independent consultant to the Company from October 2010 to June 2011. Previously, he was Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Penta Water Company, President and Chief Operating Officer of Herbalife International of America, Chief Executive Officer of DMX Music and Executive Vice President of Worldwide Home Entertainment at the Walt Disney Company. Mr. Probert received his B.A. from the University of Southern California in 1979. In February of 2016, he joined the Board of Leaders for the USC Marshall School of Business where he helps guide the development of management education programs for his alma mater. Mr. Probert also serves on the Board of Directors of the Direct Selling Education Foundation, and he recently completed a three-year term of service on the Board of Directors of the Direct Selling Association. He brings to our Board significant direct selling experience, as well as extensive leadership and operational management skills in global consumer-oriented businesses, which strengthens the Board's aptitude in these key areas.

Joseph Baty

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer on October 31, 2016, Joseph W. Baty brings a wealth of experience and strong fiscal leadership to Nature's Sunshine. Prior to joining Nature's Sunshine, Mr. Baty served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Schiff Nutrition International where he played a key role in the growth, improved financial performance, and dramatically increased shareholder value of the company. Utah Business magazine named him CFO of the Year in the large public company category in June of 2012 for his contributions at Schiff. Prior to working at Schiff, Mr. Baty was a partner at the public accounting firm of KPMG. He graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

Richard Strulson

Richard Strulson

Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer

Mr. Strulson joined Nature's Sunshine in October 2013. Previous to joining the company, Mr. Strulson served as Senior Vice President, Chief Privacy Officer, and Counsel, of Herbalife, one of the world's largest direct selling companies. From 1998 to 2004, he served in a variety of senior legal counsel positions for The Walt Disney Company and FOX Cable Networks, where he was responsible for negotiating M&A deals, media rights and licensing agreements. Prior to his internal legal counsel positions, Mr. Strulson was a Corporate Attorney in Los Angeles with Latham and Watkins from 1995 to 1998 and clerked for Chief Justice E. Norman Veasey of the Delaware Supreme Court from 1994 to 1995. Mr. Strulson received a Doctor of Jurisprudence and Masters of Business Administration from Duke University in 1994, and a B.A. in Foreign Affairs and Economics from the University of Virginia in 1990.

Adriana Mendizábal

Adriana Mendizábal

President, NSP Americas and Chief Marketing Officer

Ms. Mendizábal was appointed President of NSP Americas in December, 2014. Ms. Mendizabal joined NSP in 2012 as Executive Vice President of NSP Worldwide bringing reputable experience in CPG and Network Marketing in blue chip companies. Prior to this, she served as Senior Vice President Global Marketing at Visa, Senior Vice President and General Manager for Mexico and Central America at Herbalife, Inc. She started her career at Procter and Gamble where she spent 16 years holding multiple Marketing leadership positions with impact at local, regional and global levels. She was recognized as one of the most influential business women in Mexico from 2007-09. Ms. Mendizabal earned a degree with Honors in Business & Marketing from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey.

Sue Armstrong

Chief Operations Officer

Ms. Armstrong was appointed Chief Operations Officer in December 2014. In this role, she is responsible for worldwide sourcing, manufacturing, distribution and information technology. Prior to this, she served as Executive Vice President of Operations since joining the company in March 2013. Ms. Armstrong came to Nature's Sunshine from Metagenics, where she served as Senior Vice President, Value Chain. Ms. Armstrong was previously Vice President, Global Supply Chain at Carl Zeiss Vision, a leader in ophthalmic lenses and eye care solutions. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom.

Patrick J. O'Hara

Chief Human Resources Officer

Prior to joining Nature's Sunshine in January 2012 as Vice President, Human Resources, Mr. O'Hara served as Vice President of Human Resources-Asia Pacific for Danaher Corporation from 2008. Previously, he was Vice President, Human Resources and Facilities for Fluke Corporation, Deputy Director of Human Resources at Los Alamos National Laboratory and in numerous senior human resource management positions at IBM Corporation. He has helped many organizations significantly improve business performance through building the organizational capability needed to achieve breakthrough business strategies. Mr. O'Hara received his B.S. in Communications from Arizona State University and his Masters in Organizational Behavior from Brigham Young University.

Dr. Matthew Tripp

Dr. Matthew Tripp

Chief Scientific Officer

Prior to joining Nature's Sunshine in April 2013, Dr. Tripp served as Vice President of Research and Development at Metagenics. There he managed the discovery, development, safety and clinical validation of medical foods and nutraceuticals. He also helped create over 100 patents and patent applications. Prior to that, Tripp conducted basic and applied research for several Fortune 500 companies including Miller, General Foods, Kraft and Kellogg's. He earned a Ph.D. from Washington State University in Physiology/Microbial Genetics/Microbiology. Tripp received his master's degree in Microbial Physiology/Bacterial Genetics and a B.S. in Biology both from Western Michigan University.
