Plant it Forward Initiative: All Month Long!
April 1, 2026
At a Glance: This Earth Month, every order helps plant a tree. In partnership with Evertreen, Nature’s Sunshine is building a living, trackable forest—rooted in sustainability, transparency, and a shared commitment to the earth.
This April, every order you place does something that will outlast the month. Nature’s Sunshine is partnering with Evertreen to plant a tree in California, in a real forest, in a place that needs it, for every order placed during Earth Month.
These aren’t symbolic gestures. They’re trees. And by the end of April, they’ll be a forest. It's the "Plant it Forward Initiative!"
THE EARTH HAS TAKEN CARE OF US. WE RETURN THE FAVOR.
For over 50 years, Nature’s Sunshine has believed that the planet is the source of our healing power. The herbs, botanicals, and whole-food ingredients in our products don’t come from a lab—they come from the earth. Rainforests, highlands, coastal soils, mountain springs. The land isn’t a backdrop to what we do. It’s the foundation.
WHY CALIFORNIA. WHY NOW.
Coastal California trees are among the most resilient and most threatened trees on earth. They can live for over a thousand years, support entire ecosystems beneath their canopy, and play an important role in carbon storage.
Wildfires have taken a toll on California’s groves in recent years, leaving land bare that once supported some of the most biodiverse forests on the planet.
We’re planting all of April’s trees in celebration of Earth Month 2026, all in the same region so they grow together. Not scattered across a map, but a single, concentrated forest taking root in one place.
MEET EVERTREEN
We chose to partner with Evertreen because they bring transparency to reforestation.
- Satellite monitoring tracks growth, photosynthesis, soil conditions, and tree health
- GPS coordinates allow you to see exactly where your trees are planted
- Field verification and drone mapping document progress over time
- Trees are planted by local farmers, supporting both ecosystems and communities
The result is simple: you can watch this forest grow—not as a number, but as a living system.
HOW IT WORKS
Place an order with Nature’s Sunshine in April, and a tree gets planted in your name.
- No extra steps
- No opt-in required
- No minimum order
- Every order plants one tree
At the end of the month, we’ll share where the forest stands—and you’ll be able to track it.
THIS IS WHAT SOURCING ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE
We talk a lot about where our ingredients come from. The farms, the farmers, the soils, and the growing conditions. The reason we care about altitude, harvest windows, and how plants are grown.
The Plant it Forward Initiative isn’t separate from how we source. It reflects the same commitment in a different way. We believe the earth is worth protecting because we’ve seen what it produces when it’s treated well.
LET’S GROW SOMETHING TOGETHER
This is what it looks like when a wellness brand puts its values into action. We make products from the planet. It’s only right that we give something back.
One order. One tree. Let's grow something together.
